The idea of a revolution in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is not a fable. It’s truly happening, with a new wave of service level-focus rewriting the old rules of outsourcing. Poland has been a major geographic player in the shift around BPO, customer experience, and content moderation outsourcing; it’s both a great business location and an incubator for fresh, new ideas.
In this vein, we opened a Poznan delivery center in late 2018. The initial facility had 30 employees in Business Link Poznan. We quickly grew — outgrew, even — that space and will be moving shortly.
Our Poznan global delivery center location will be moving to Stary Browar, a contemporary shopping center and cultural hub, with the move to be completed before January 22, 2020. This is close to our old location in Poznan — we didn’t want to disrupt the travel times of our Poznan-based agents — but this provides us additional room for growth.
The new space is 2,000 square meters and positions us as the first-choice employer for content moderators and customer service/customer experience representatives. 200 employees will be based in the Stary Browar space initially, with the potential for 800+ employees, all of whom will be delivering services in 10+ languages across six time zones 24/7/365.
The Poznan expansion into a new space furthers Conectys’ focus on flexibility and the ability to quickly deliver scalable outsourcing solutions. for our clients. As we help to carve out the future of outsourcing ourselves, this new facility marks an accomplishment we’re truly proud of.
Interestingly, in late autumn of 2019, Conectys employees planted a tree in Stary Browar Park. Now, as that tree grows, our operations in Poznan will grow alongside it.
Poznan has a population of over 500,000 — about 537,682 at last count — and is known for being a well-educated outsourcing and business hub for Poland. Conectys’ relationship with Poznan goes back years, and this will be the next step in our continued development and growth within the city.
