ROMANIA (Jan. 2019) —Conectys, the recognized leader in multilingual and multicultural outsourcing services, today announces it has begun operations in Lisbon, Portugal. The rapidly growing business process outsourcing (BPO) provider selected Lisbon primarily for its talent pool of multilingual and highly skilled professionals, as well as its prime location and competitive costs. The city is also known as a millennial and innovation hub, which complements Conectys’ agile and innovative culture. With this new location, Conectys is able to tap into Lisbon’s impressive workforce, tenured in customer experience (CX), IT, media and BPO services, and pass the benefits on to clients.
Additionally, Conectys chose Lisbon due to its 36,000 annual university graduates and flexible labor code. The education of the city’s 2.8 million population and its growing attractiveness as an expatriate destination translates into an abundance of talent and skill. Lisbon is also known for its political stability, and the new Conectys site in this region has led to partnership agreements with cities such as Haimen, Peking and Malacca City. This new Conectys location is proximal to the center of the city, and only 20 minutes from downtown. The offices are in a seven-floor facility, with one entire floor dedicated to employees’ relaxation and leisure.

And while Portugal’s official national language is Portuguese, English is mandatory from primary education onward so the workforce is rich in multilingual native speakers.
